Logon to your lightbulb. The advent of LiFi.

I found this fascinating TED video on NewsForage.com. It is the brianchild of German physicist, Harald Haas, a crazy idea that just might work. Basically your internet connection (or any data connection actually) is transmitted through the visible light spectrum of LED light bulbs.

It has ten times the capacity of radio waves and is potentially more secure because light does not penetrate walls easily, making it harder to hack from outside the room. It is faster than broadband, and the energy required is used for lighting your room - almost free! http://www.newsforage.com/2012/04/forget-wifi-connect-to-internet-through.html
