...Martin guitar.


It's not a serious relationship - just a little midlife crisis fling.

Some have suggested that l might be happier with a Taylor, or maybe a nice Gibson.

However, none of those have captured my affection like this Martin. I did have a brief crush on a Canadian-made guitar I played around with one summer evening at a luthier shop in Provo, Utah.

Since then no other guitars have caught my attention, until I spotted this Martin on display on one of my routine visits to a local music store. I saw it gleaming in the lights and was drawn to play it. I was smitten. Only a nervous look at the price tag brought me back to reality. So for now, this relationship is just a fantasy. I won't be bringing her home any time soon. Nevertheless, I may stop by and see her once in a while, for old time's sake.

Just don't tell my wife.
