Zach is Back - turning lemons into...wheelchairs

The seven-year-old who raised money to help people who could not afford to have a wheelchair is at it again.  This year he used Facebook to boost his lemonade stand traffic.  The video is from his original project.  Check out this letter from Abdulla, age 9, of Jordan who was paralyzed from birth, who now travels three kilometers to school in his new wheelchair:

“This is my special thanks for people in America in general and as a special one for you, my friend Zack. I kiss your forehead [a supreme Arabic act of respect]. I am proud of you and what you did for me and for other people who need help. Since we are handicapped, we do not have what ordinary boys have, but we have a smart brain and willingness from our God to help us handle our problem to face life bravely.”

Facebook hijacked my Facebook page

Today I tried to login to Facebook only to find my page covered with a message from Facebook that made a very serious attempt to force me to add information THAT IT CHOSE to my profile.  There have been some terrible rumors about Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg regarding his ethical values, and his attempts to violate user privacy, and maybe that is what we are seeing manifested in his unrestrained attempts to foist his virtual imperial will on unsuspecting users.  I am a power web user, and it took me some time to figure out how to defeat this dishonest ploy.  Many social network users would just accept it in order to maintain relationships with family and friends.  The only thing missing was a message from the mob saying, "If you want to communicate with your family again, you will do as I say.  Hand over your personal information!"
