So the iPad is supposed to be the coolest thing ever and no one can argue with the popularity. I finally got my hands on one and have been putting it to the test. It shipped with no manual, which is a good sign.
I immediately loved the keyboard allowing me to do ten finger typing onscreen. I type pretty fast- 60/30 - so I can take notes faster on the iPad than with a pen and paper or any other means. However, all is not roses. There is no arrow navigation - if. You have to go back you have to backspace or try to use the touch screen to put the curser between tiny letters. Not hard, if your fingers are the size of tweezers, but for me a pain.
I also opened an email attachment expecting to edit it. No dice. Probably need an app.
Speaking of apps, two of three I've downloaded so far haven't worked well. just user error I'm sure.
